    File sizes

    We've had computers for how many years now?

    Is it just the clientele that I work with or do people really NOT understand the importance of file size?

    I've told these people and told these people that if you're using a WINDOWS based system you should NOT email files that are over one MB in size. But they don't seem to understand.

    I actually got an email this morning that had a file 10MB !!!
    Some idiot decided to send it just the way it was without doing some kind of compression or anything, and EMAILED IT!?

    To top it all off, I'm not even supposed to actually use the file, they just wanted me to see and example of what they've done.

      Propably one of those types who think compression ruins the quality of the file(s) or something as silly...
      Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

          it was an example photo Coyote....besides, I've got my own server and they know how to upload files.

              People get email accounts with 1 GB space for free.

              So they use them

                      I would get a gmail account....but I've got a business address that I'd REALLY like to keep using.

                      I just wish folks would pay attention to file size.

                                  I think there's an option on GMail to get mail from other accounts. I haven't tried it yet, though.

                                  If it works, your problem is solved...
