Gotta go with Janis.

Always had an odd effect on me.

There are times when I think her voice and her stage presentation were just amazing. A realness there. Just genuine, raw emotion and power.

But other times her incessant wailing and twitching just grates on my last good nerve, and it's like listening to and watching some speedballing alcoholic incessantly whining for a fix.
