    Is it on..?Was it on..?

    It looks off to me, was it lit while i was away, if so you may delete this thread.

    Of course i am speaking of the -Torch-, on the front page of this fine
    web site.

    Did someone light it and then snuff the flame after the Hall of Fame debacle.?

    Was there enough --if---- in the air or have we been up and down this rollercoaster so many times discretion prevailed and it wasn't lit too soon.

    I say light that sukker on the opening show of Dave and Van Halen only after they take the stage and Eddie strikes the cords of, I'm The One .

    Any opinions or info welcome .........

              David is still in good terms with Ed and Al.

              The tour is still planned.

              As to when, who knows.

              As to who will play bass, my guess it will be Mike.

                                  Let us pray that Mike is back.. VH releases a masterpiece and put the rest of the socalled rock bands of today (Velvet Revolver to mention one) to shame.

                                      He and mommy recently told People magazine that he is glad the tour is off/postponed, and that he felt he was too young to tour anyway.

                                      So to me that sounds like he will not be on the bill for any future tour dates, so...

                                                  M .A. was so integral to the VH sound, how could they not tour with him?


                                                  I knew a dude who played drums in a -Slam- band back in the 70s who
                                                  was sharp and fast, the other dudes in the band were 25 ish the
                                                  drummer was 17 or such and they had alot of problems schedualing
                                                  -gigs- because most venues serve alcohol and he was seen as a minor.

                                                  How could Ed go out Rocking and the more that likely debauchery that
                                                  may go along with -single- rock gods ,back stage shenannigans and all.

                                                  In front of a 16yr old, may be a little much too soon for the lil' tike .lol
