In a nutshell the NWA is pissed at TNA becoming "sports entertainment".

This will explain it better:

How much power does the NWA really have these days?

My guess is not a lot.

So they`re going to hold tournaments in high school gym halls for a new NWA champ?

Big fuckin` deal.

Sure the NWA title has a great history but it`s been dead for at least fifteen years, since WCW cut ties with NWA.

And Jeff Jarrett holding it in TNA for five years (on and off) didn`t mean shit either.

For who? I'm just curious, cause I stopped watching wrestling years ago. I don't think I've seen any of the TNA shows.

I miss the WCW/NWA days, when sting wasn't goth, and the Steiner Bros were a tag team (and Scott wasn't an HGH bomb waiting to explode).
