The Mighty Van Halen

I saw CVH 3 times, every time they were introduced as The Mighty Van Halen. After Sammy stepped in, I never went back. I ain't been to a Van Halen concert since 1984.

But for anyone who did, were they still introduced as the Mighty Van Halen? Or did that end with Dave?

I saw every post CVH tour except the original 5150 tour and the V3 tour and they were never introduced that way. The "introduction" of a sort would most often be Ed playing the star spangled banner backstage before the show started.

Van Hagar generally didn't get intoduced. The lights would go down and Sammy would scream "Helloooo Baby", which is enough to make you puke, and then they would go into their first song.

They weren't introduced for the V3 tour either. Del Mar fairgrounds, free concert with fair admission.

Actually, I can't remember any concerts since the mid 80's where the band was introduced. Lights go down, music starts up, maybe some pyro.
