    Coverdale/Page

Had bought this on cassette when it came out in 1993, listened to it for a few years, forgot about it. Recently picked it up at a discount record store on cd and am totally digging on Shake My Tree, Waiting On You, Easy Does It, Don't Leave Me This Way and Absolution Blues.

There's a bit of cheese on it, to be sure, but had forgotten just how good it was when it got cooking. Would put it right up there among the best efforts in terms of just about anything Page has done since Zep folded, and it sounds as good to me as anything Coverdale did post Slide It In.

    Anyone else dig this album?

    I`m kinda half and half.

I really dug stuff like "Easy does it", "Pride and joy" and "Over now" and a few others.

"Don`t leave me this way" is Page`s best blues since "Since I been loving you".

But those too ballads are pretty cheesey and the WHOA-OA-OA-OA bit of "Feeling hot" is real silly.

    Not a bad album, though.

I like most of it. "Over Now" is a killer tune.

I like it, certainly a breath of fresh air after Coverdale's poodle-era.

Would have liked to see them make another to see what happened.

But, of course, Plant got jealous.
