        Great interview.

Zloz said that: Dave has written the Foreword for the book, plus there will be brand new anecdotes by Ted Templeman and Pete Angelus.

He was also "lobbying" for Mikes return.

The book sounds like the dogs bollocks.

The book has been delayed for a 2008 release (to coincide with a =VH= 30th Anniversary Tour, lol). I think those who pre-ordered it will receive it later this year though..... check out his site (up top).

I don't really give a crap who takes pictures of them, honestly...photography's not exceptionally difficult work, in any regards...anybody with a camera and a backstage access pass can do it...and you often times don't even need the backstage access pass to get good shots...

Interesting, but...Ross, Neil, somebody else...doesn't really make any difference to me as long as Van Halen gets going on something...

                      True dat.

Just one thing: Don't use a flash, if you want decent pics of the stage. (Given that you're in the proximity)
Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

Photography is an artform, and anyone can tell the difference between a decent photogrpaher and a great one (Halfin and Zloz both fall into the latter category).

Personally, I've always thought of Halfin as been great at catching bands on stage and not so good at the photoshoot stuff. Just my taste though.

Went to a Mick Rock exhibition last year, and it was a really, really cool experience.

The book sounds sweet, how cool would it be to get it signed by all four original members?

I ordered the auto'd book as well.

I thought it should've been here by now.

                          ...will be
receiving their copies in late November / early December 2008
                          Looks like another 6 months...

I agree binne, Halfin 's live work is *of the moment* while his studio work is quite bland these past couple of years.

But he did get some nice shots of RIKK & his partner

                              Surprised no-one came back with a "katie & her partner" variation;

Great interview with Zloz though. I always thought he covered them as far back as the Club Days, apparently he hooked up with them after VH I. The book will prob be variations on what we've already seen.
