Watched it live on BBC2.

Roger struggled a bit, but he sounded better the night before in Liverpool (fuck, thats the third time they've played Liverpool in less than a year, and people NEVER play Liverpool, I think they like us), and both night had bad weather conditions...so, he probably had to work more.

He did struggle a bit, but I was watching it with all the hairs in my body on end thinking "would a Led Zepp reunion come anywhere near to this these days?", and I honestly don't think it would.

They sounded great.

Glad you had a good one!

How did Roger's voice hold up?

Here's a vid from the last concert of the tour in Helsinki.

It was a grate cuntcert, I was there, Roger's voice only struggled a bit on maybe 2-3 songs, but was overall good.

Pete was FOOKIN' GRATE, and Ringo's son is a real deal too.

Check out for yerself: Amazing Journey/Sparks!!!

A friend of mine bought a DVD of their show in L.A.

How fucking cool is it that they go above and beyond just selling live recordings, but actually selling DVDs of every fucking show???

So I got a copy of the L.A. show.

Perfect quality.

The Who fucking rock.
And I have never seen them.

Wish they would come to Gnashville.

Is Pino Palladino playing bass for them still?

Yes he is.

Pete is also fuckin' cool and has a dark sense of humour when he introduces the band.

He told us the keyboard player "lost his wife" during the tour, but still kept playing. I understood she has passed away.

Pete still finished his introduction by saying: "He's available!!!"

:D

PS. The income of the DVD's goes to charity. I don't know if it's always a good thing or just polishing one's image, but I'm hopeful it is a good thing.

Well, Roger is a head honcho for the teenage cancer trust, and has been for years, he organises several events in their aid each year, and The Who aren't always involved...so it probably goes to them, and I think Roger is genuinely involved in the charity for the right reasons.

Pete's on fine form at the moment, though.

That seems like ages away...but it'll probably fly by.

We've got an arena opening in the new year. I guess they'll play that. They keep saying they love playing Liverpool, but there aren't really any places big enough to hold them.

Here is the link to my photoshop album.I might of stolen some pics from friends who went but 95 % of them i took.I started out @ leeds university in june 2006 and the whole shebang abang was a blast.I got to meet Pete townshend twice which i never thought in a million years would happen. He really is a fucking cool guy,he could see when i first met him i was pretty nervous but he was easy to talk to .He does have piercing blue eyes.I met Roger briefly blew my chance at picture somebody cock blocked me.Even met Lou Reed if you can believe that.

Absolutley. Love the intro when they play it live...everybody just sings...and its a song that everybody in the world knows, so nobody has an excuse.
