He's playing arpeggios on bass on the studio track. That would be crazy to play and sing at the same time.

YEEEEESSSSS!!!! A Paul appreciation thread! I'm so fucking sick of the music press treating John as the second coming of Jesus and always slagging Paul. Paul is at least as talented as John was and wrote AT LEAST as great songs.
