1) WAY too much distortion. Sounds like he's got some kind of flanger/phaser/stereo chorus action going on there, too. Dunno what it sounded like in the room while he was playing it, but I could barely make out what he was playing.

2) WAY too much high end. Willing to bet his treble and gain are on 10, and his bass is on 3 at the highest.

3) Seeing someone run through scales like that on an overdriven electric just isn't impressive. Let's see him pull it off on an acoustic. Even a nylon-string. Betcha he couldn't.
