    Top Ten Most Important Guitars

What are the top 10 most important guitars in Rock history.?

I would say from a collectors stand point. The ones that have changed the world.

I feel that of all the guitars Ted nugent Black Gibson is one of them. I don't know where all of you would rate it.

He may have several but you know wich one i mean the Ted Nugent Ted Nugent guitar.

If I am off on exact legal description of Teds guitar. I am not a great intellect on this issue.

If I could collect this guitar. I would inmop have one of the most important guitars in Rock and Roll.

After i had it I would have Ted sign it(couple picts for the wall) then i would give it back to him cause, I'm NOT WORTHY!!

I would like people to post a image, so i can see what you see.

If this should be in picts i'm cool withit.

Hendrix is the obvious one...yea I know he's always in these countdowns, but when you get down to it, you can't deny his influence.

        Schenker?
        Eddie?
        Iommi?
        Les Paul?

The Edge...not a U2 fan but after U2 broke through there were a lot of people copying The Edge's playing style.

There's too many to really mention...

Really, its mostly the usaul suspects...but, then, who can argue?

          Rick Nielsen's 5-neck custom Hamer.
Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

Katie, your's is the most obvious I think. That and the 59 paul.

            this one is key:

utilitarian assembly line awesomeness. He went through quite a few of them so there's no specific guitar.
            gnaw on it

It is hard to give specifics. That one type of image.

If you were buying the Pete Townshend (Would be on my list also.)

The one he played on -Live at Leeds 1970-. It probably went in the dumpster after the show I haven't seen to many boots and can't remember if the guitar lived.

Has he always played this style or does anyone have a specific.

"I was banging this fiesty babe at UFO in 79 and the guitar(Shenker) he played that night or that tour".The -Lights Out- tour

That Type of stuff -One Guitar- you know you can't afford.LOL

Damn they sounded good with a fuzz box and a dimed Hiwatt! I love SG's for their ulitarian usefullness! I have one I would put up against many a Les Paul for tone.
No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!

He still has that guitar and still plays it. I think it's better sounding than his blonde one. I watched him rip through Great White Buffalo with it last year. Holy hell what a sound!

Buddy Holly's 1958 Fender Stratocaster. Everybody has had a Strat or Strat copy at some point.

“Great losses often bring only a numb shock. To truly plunge a victim into misery, you must overwhelm him with many small sufferings.”
