Definitely. In fact, this is the medley from the official "Exit Stage Left" video. I think that was ultimately taken from one of a string of four nights performed in Montreal in December 1981.

Some people bag on Rush (not heavy enough)whatever?

They seem to me to perhaps be the only band who sounded as good live as in the studio.

Can't imagine the hours rehearsing these cats did.

I helped unpack the lighting truck on The Signals tour. We were throwing a frisby around in the venue when RUSH's equipment and crew arrived the night before the show. They asked if we would please stop throwing the frisby because they were going to be setting up some expensive stuff, then one guy asked if we wanted a job a gophers. Pretty cool. We went and basically unloaded rolls of cables. Everything was color coded and labeled so we knew where and to who to take it to. We just saved the technitians the job of hauling the stuff around. Went to the show the next day and our payment was a backstage pass. Pretty cool.

They could be pretty damn heavy for the day. Heavy today is death metal with is tottaly unmusical and bores me to tears. Get the cheapest high powered high gain amp and just make noise with it. Shout lyrics full of hate and shock value.

I grew up with punk. The Sex Pistols and The Plasmatics. It's all been done before but better.

Todays bands are tone deaf. They just want raw power. Like the car stereos. Big plastic speakers that just move air and sound like shit.

Great thread!! HUGE EARLY RUSH FAN 1976-1984! Here is my problem!! This is from exit stage left video! AS Previously stated by HYMAN! However that show is only 1 hour! Checked out a rush site and the full set list for that tour was fuckin amazing!! Why could not they put the full show on video(ESPECIALLY for the REPLAY X 3 DVD release)? There should be a rock n roll law that bands have to release full shows/rarities/etc.,etc., after you reach 15+ years and A+++ status for the fans who have to go to the bootleg market buy/trade/steal/download! WTF! 1 Hour show on video! No wonder I still can't get sober!!
