I found this on a blog a month or so back and cut pasted it onto a notebook document. I just forgot to post it but the links are still good.

Most of you guys already have these tunes somewhere so this is for the n00bs and anyone who needs to retool their collection quickly and conveniently. Since some countries have difficulty with Megaupload, in the coming days I will try to re-upload this collection to Sharebee (anyone who wants to do a good deed can help me with this endeavor if they are so inspired).

I also have in my cut/paste notes that credit should be given properly to "jrtxs2001" though I didn't cut/paste a hyperlink for some reason to where jrtx2001 posts (probably g101).

I will bet you a dime that the song "Hallelujah" in part 2 is actually the song "Chevrolet" that is in part 1.

Hmmm...I'll check. I downloaded 1 - 3 but haven't had the chance to open and listen to it yet.

EDIT: Welp...'Chevrolet' is from a live gig and is 03:43 long. Sound is decent considering it probably came from some condenser mics on an old tape recorder in the mid-70's.

'Haleluja' is a poorly recorded 48 second clip...could indeed be the same riff. Its hard to tell, Halleuja sounds like shit.

That would certainly be hella convenient!

And a n00b started a thread recently about shows at G101. None of these are from G101, and if they are, they are dupes (or these are dupes of G101), they come various blogs I found on GoogleBlogSearch.com.

I figure anyone who is seriously interested combs over there regularly for CVH and Dave music. But if your talking about hosting - the n00b has a point!! There are tons of active links out there not represented in this thread.

Ok, I checked how much bandwidth I get with my hosting & it's not enough to be able to host all files at once - I get about 2GB, which is enough for 4 people to download all the tracks, if that.

I'll either: 1) Pick out the best ones, & host them, or 2) Rotate hosting them, though that'll take longer to get them all than the wait limit between files on megaupload... :(
