Has anyone else seen the graphics that Hollywood Jesus posted in Picture Palooza? They are from Go Media and they are T-shirt designs. I have never seen them before and they are very cool.

Notice the new "old" logo in each design.

Nice.

Notice how in the first one there's something to represent each band member:

The bottle of loon for Eddie.

The heavy brow on the skull for Alex.

The hot chick for Dave.

And the baby devil for Wolfie.

I wonder if they are trying to push the "So-Cal Vibe" with the palm trees on each design? Definitely a pattern there.

Very cool...and very interesting!

Hmmm...wasn't that recent pic of Dave and Al taken at an art show?

Perhaps these are the outgrowth of something related to that?

CD cover art?

OK...now I'm just talking crazy...

Another Dave vibe...he loves the Palm Trees. Even had them brought into the studio for his Radio Gig for that Summertime party feel...;)

Interesting how one of the designs says 1984.

With that kind of art, it's hard to believe Dave isn't spearheading the creative process again...

Cheers! :bottle:

When I ran across these the other night, I was hoping against hope that this was for new tour shirts. The old logo was a good sign, but the 1984 made me wonder if I just missed these earlier.

I love the skull, bikini beach design. A little California, a little metal, a pinch of sex and a touch of humor. All good =VH= vibes. Doesn't make me want to drive a Nissan at all.

Geek confession: I was actually googling some illustrators looking for inspiration for a fantasy football logo. Then... Wawazat?!?

5150?
I think that shit should be over and done with, or do we get to see the 5150 walk with Dave in front’?

Other than that, cool designs

Well, they did record 1984 at the 5150 studio. As well as the 1996 songs. It actually came before Hagar.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news,

The designs are no longer on the web site?

Do you think that it is a bad sign?

i actually think that vh didnt want it on there because it's a sign of their reunion before they announce

That tells me that the designs were in fact legit and not supposed to be posted in the first place.

I see it as a good sign.

First of all, those designs look like cartoon shit. They don't remind me of VH at all and I hope to god they never use them.

Secondly, they were probasbly removed because they weren't authorized by VH to be made in the first place, and we all know how ED's lawyers are quick to crack the whip on anything like that.

He played that guitar (the Kramer with 5150 on it) on the 1984 tour with Dave.

5150 got bastardized by Sammy just like the rest of VH, but it wasn't a product of Sammy...

Does anyone knows what happened to these designs? I don't see them in the site anymore, and it seems the official tour t-shirts are completely different.

Have they been abandoned?

Is there still copyright attached to them?

Cheers! :bottle:
