Well, what happened was some on the site listened to a self-proclaimed insider asshole and got their hopes up between that and the recent pic of Dave and Al with the dj that surfaced around the same time, while others on the site aren't going to believe anything until it's made official by the band themselves.

In other words, just business as usual 'round these parts.

This album is one of two I purchased this evening from a Fairfax City used record and tape shop. The albums were priced for less than $5, and since every album under $5 was on sale for 1/2 price I made out like a bandit.
Perhaps the jackass that got rid of these LP's is responsible for the bullshit posts.

"The Guy" resides in Nanuet NY I'm not from the East Coast, but I doubt somehow that Nanuet is the hotbed od Van HALEN activity.

So in my experienced opinion (having dealt with 10 years worth of "insider" trolls,) I'd say the chances of "The Guy" being a legitimate insider in the Van HALEN camp are roughly equal to that of Chimpy actually winning Florida in 2000.

An autumn tour sounds very unlikely to me. It's almost August, if they want to tour in September that leaves next to no time for ticket sales. I just can't see the promoters getting behind that.

Not saying the reunion won't happen, but a tour starting in September seems like a no-go now...
