after reading about the future press release...i'm a curious, who is going to sing Michael Anthony's background vocals...i mean...what's going on?

if eddie wanted a family reunion, that wasn't based upon using the cookie jar to make some petty cash.

i don't know.... maybe it's a kind of anti climatic assumption, but really, who can sing and play bass like him?

i personally would rather see Mr. Roth tour with Vai and Sheehan, over the obvious...but then obviously, Vai is busy with his new ochestra production...apparently without Sheehan, which makes me wonder what happened with their almost "inseperable tandum"...

but oh well...
i'd just love to see Dave Give 'er Down..

I've been a fan since i was 9 years old, when 1984 came out!

so...i guess i have to be patient...

like the rest of us

Can't you see the magnitude of the problem? One of the important parts of a reunion tour is the nostalgia. Without the original lineup, where is the nostalgia? Sure maybe MA's bass playing never did give me a hard-on, but then whose does? But are you going to deny that your "Jimmy Dean" isn't completely and totally hard for this tour?

I deserved that. But remember. You were still reading "Dick and Jane" when I saw Van Halen for the first time.

I heard if you stuck a cold carrot up Matt Bruck's ass he got close to Mike's vocal tone.

Who cares about the background vocals?

The frontground vocals will be sung by King Papa Diamond Dave.

I didn't miss John Paul Jones in '95, '98.

I never missed the mullet at ANY of the Roth solo shows from '86-'06.

'Nuff said. Next question.

Well the reason why I have been posting here a bit more is because of the bias at the Links. Of course it may appear that there is bias because the same 10 pro-Sammy people post 100 times a day.

No shit and at this point why doesn't someone just start a friggin' HAIL MIKEY site (since MA OBVIOUSLY is/was the most vital part of VH. ) for all of those people and let the rest of us enjoy what we've just been given?
