I don't think there will be a 'bass solo', but more like inter-changeable jamming between Ed, Wolf and Al.

Maybe Dave will have them do a duel a la Vai and Sheenan on the EEAS tour.

I would bet money on a Wolfie solo (at least the first night)....he's a world class musician and he's fucking dangerous....

              I hope there's no solos...at all.

"Eddie closing the show with "Eruption" will be all I need. I want a show chock full of songs not some mash up medley or solo/beer breaks throughout.

They have enough music to stay up there for 2+ hours easy.

We can only hope for 2 hours plus. My money is on an hour and 45 minutes tops. God forbid they give us 2 hours for all the money we are spending.

If he does...then it can't be any worse than a MA solo... what a time killing joke that was...

He should fashion a bass guitar in the shape of a mountain dew bottle.. or maybe yohoo..

The worst part of that video was Sammy at the very start and end of the clip. No stage presence. That bass solo was ok, one or two nice parts but the crank back into the whole band was awesome, totally Van Halen. And whaddya know they went straight into Panama. Now THAT was funny!

Yes, back to when Wolf was out on the road, and had been playing bass for one year. Recently learning that makes me want to kick Ed in the nuts all over again. You put your kid in front of us wolves with only ONE YEAR of playing? I thought at the time it was a hell of a load to put on the kids shoulders, but this just makes it worse! Granted, Wolf's played guitar since 9 and drums since 10 (or vice versa... drums are his favourite though).

Perhaps one reason why ADKOT has taken so long is because Wolf needed to get those years of practice behind him? To do what he did in 07 PROVES the kid has talent, IMO. I CAN'T WAIT to hear this kid's solo this year. I sincerely think we are about to get our mind's blown away just as each of us did the first time we saw Eddie live. Be ready... .

I have this feeling... we're not going to see a standard Van Halen show this time out.

Possibly a bass solo... sure. That would be cool. The kid is no slouch on drums... he could interrupt Uncle Al's solo and show him how it's done.

There's a lot of possibilities... I wouldn't rule out a 4 song acoustic set either...
