    Wish List Set Lists

Im goin to the Oct 7 show in TORONTO. Dave said at the Press Conference that they will play 25 SONGS (Wolfie picked them) WHICH SONGS WOULD YOU GUYS CHOOSE IF YOU COULD PICK?

Here are the songs I would like to see them perform.

    Runnin With the Devil
Where Have All the Good Times Gone?
    Dance The Night Away
    Hear About It Later
    I'll Wait
    Atomic Punk
    Everybody Wants Some
    Light Up the Sky
    Drop Dead Legs
    The Full Bug
    Jamie's Cryin
    Women In Love
Romeo Delight or "Dirty Movies" (alternate between shows)
    Light Up the Sky
    Feel Your Love Tonight
    And The Cradle Will Rock
    Im The One
    You Really Got Me
    Somebody Get Me a Doctor
    Mean Streets
    Hot For Teacher
    Jump

    ENCORE:

    Aint Talk'n Bout Love
    Unchained
    Panama

Songs I would love to hear if they decided to treat us the way we deserve to and do 30 songs : Women In Love, Beautiful Girls, So this Is Love?, Little Dreamer, Ice cream Man

    JUST MY 2 CENTS

Just for laughs, between the opeening act and VH Id like to see the lights dim, hear the opening of RIGHT NOW playing and have "RIGHT NOW THE REAL VAN HALEN IS ABOUT TO KICK ASS IN TORONTO" flash up on the screens.

25 tunes, plus Dave's rants, two guitar solos, one drums solo... Damn good perspective!

      1) Hot for teacher
      2) I'm the one
      3) Drop dead legs
      4) Atomic punk
      5) Hear about it later
      6) And the cradle will rock
      7) Little guitars
      8) D.O.A.
      9) The Full bug
      10) Somebody get me a doctor
      11) Take your whiskey home
      12) Mean Street
      13) Everybody wants some
      14) Little dreamer
15-16) Girl gone bad/ House of pain (linked)
      17) Light up the sky
      18) Romeo delight
      19) In a simple rhyme
      20) Jump
      21) Panama
      22) Runnin' with the devil
      23) So this is love
      24) Ain't talkin' 'bout love
      25) Unchained

I'd take any setlist anyway, as long as they tour Europe next year.

Any chance Dave will perform any Van hagar songs, don't forget Ed wrote half of "5150" for Dave's voice.

With Hagar they would play Right Now and have "Right Now Van Halen is Kicking Ass in (city)" on the screens. Reread it and you should see the irony in the joke Jackass

No chance. If Ed has any brains left he would not include a Hagar era song, even if Wolfie wanted to do it. Plus I seriously think that a riot would break out if they did a Hagar song !

I would be stoked for this set, but I'd suggest a few changes.

Scratch Where Have All the Good Times Gone and replace with Alternating So This is Love? / Little Guitars.

Drop Drop Dead Legs and add DOA.

Also I think it would be great if they played There's Only One Way To Rock (after Dave fixes some of the lyrics, of course). It will never happen, but it would be funny...

Most likley Unchained will be the openeer...
But did read a suggestion recently thst would kick ass..
Just have Dave start the show with "I heard you missed us we're back!"
The rock out the some Hot for Teacher...
That would knock the socks off the joint.
Three time witness to the comeback of the MIGHTY VAN HALEN. And then they faded back into obscurity.

Be great if they through in 'Fools' somewhere...

And also 'In A Simple Rhyme' but then I forgot Mike's harmonies won't be there.

There's a big chance of playing a new tune or something from the club days. Now we've got finally the real VH, there's no chance to even think about Hagar.

It would be awesome, if they did some unrelished tracks/demos and covers like they did in the club/bars days, but I think they will just stick to the hits everyone knows.

well, cut out the slow melodic intro with Dave and Ed.....

(or keep it with the 2 of them onstage together alone first?)

that tune would smoke as a kick-off.....

They can't just forget the last 22 years -- can they?

You can't deny both Van Hagar and DLR have had some success over the past 22 years.

Here's what I'd LOVE to see.....

                            1) Jump
                            2) And the Cradle Will Rock
                            3) You Really Got Me
                            4) Ain't talkin' 'bout love
                            5) Where have All the Good Times Gone
                            6) Feel Your Love Tonight
                            7) Somebody get me a doctor
                            8) Take your whiskey home
                            9) Ice Cream Man
                            10) California Girls
                            11) Just I Gigalo
