Ive got a Line6 Pod which is ok. Plus various BOSS
pedals and even an old Ibanez Tube Screamer..
I still prefer the sound of a good humbucker
plugged directly into a distorting Marshall over any

Hmmm, I probably use my Vox wah more than any other pedal. Got a Classic Rat which is ok, a Tube Screamer, and an old Boss HM-2 Heavy Metal pedal, which is probably my favorite distortion. My favorite flanger is of course my MXR M117.Comment

Brownsound1, you sound like you got the same pedals as me. I dont have the Rat, but Ive got the Tube Screamer (Ibanez) and the BOSS HM2. The HM2 is pretty nasty (as in major distortion achieveable !!)
I would only ever use that sucker in lead breaks. Tube screamer is good for rhythm work at lower volumes with the Marshall..BABY PANA 2 IS Coming !! All across the land, let the love and beer flow !

Thats the one. I use that and a Dunlop wah, with a stereo flanger and MT Zone distrtion. You're absolutely right, the Tube Screamer can give you a kick arse rhythm tone, and the HM-2 really can push you over the top. Glad to see I'm not the only HM-2 fan around here.Originally posted by Panamark

I 100% happy with it. Lovely warm sounding phaser.
I think it's the pedal Eddie actually used on the first 4 records. It rocks. Don't know whether I want to try the R28 mod they talk about on that link you provided earlier. Seems a bit brutal particularly since I like the sound straight out of the box.Originally posted by flappo
