I have just heard from reliable sources in the music business that Eddie Van Halen will be playing at a benefit concert for MS later this summer with tickets going on sale soon to be called Guitar Gods For MS with Eric Clapton & Jimmy Page which will be filmed for a special on PBS.

Clapton has always bored me to tears. Page is erratic but great when he's on form.
Would be interested to see EVH play with them, but all three are kind of washed up. Their best days are WAY behind them.

yea ok, you're right, Clapton, Page and Eddie's best days are in front of them. Clapton hasn't milked the blues pentatonic riffs to death, Page has done plenty of stuff since 1980 that blew Zep out of the water, and Eddie made the right decision to write power ballads on the synth.Originally posted by tjvhou812
