          I always thought Def Leppard was trying to sound like Kiss on their first album, and Ac/Dc on their second (High and Dry)

          But at least they sounded like a rock band then, and not top 40 pussies.

                  Kinda reminds me of the old Van HALEN demo Voodoo Queen, in the sense that you recognize the guitar riff right away, but the entire structure of the song (lyrics, melody, etc.) are completely different.

                  Of course, the difference is that "Mean Street" didn't turn out to be an overproduced piece of shit with fake drums.

                  Makes you wonder what Pyromania could have been.

                              Just got a KICK-ASS DVD of DEF LEP from BALTIMORE(WASHINGTON) - inside joke there for the diehards!! THEY OPEN THE SHOW W/SIDE ONE OF HIGH AND DRY!!! GREAT VIDEO and AUDIO!!
