As I mentioned in other posts, the writer of the Yes Weekly magazine in Greensboro, Brian Clarey, interviewed us at Fat Dog's as we were cavorting with the other 10 or so Army members there... He's cool people, we had a good Van Halen talk with him.... His articles are located here....

http://www.yesweekly.com/main.asp?SectionID=18&subsectionID=44&articleID=2864

Anyway, they have now posted their photo album from the Greensboro show... Included in those photos, at the bottom of page 2 and the top of page 3, are the shots of Dave and Ed during the stoppage of "I'm the One" when they broke down and teared up (they weren't the only ones, by the way)....

These photos are copyrighted, DO NOT COPY/PASTE THEM HERE, out of respect to Brian and his coworkers....

Select the Van Halen Tour 2007 Greensboro album....

Brian Clarey was very cool. Its nice to see such great press and good
writing on this at a local level. A lot of people here have been reading
this guy’s articles for a good many years now (myself included – I wish
I could write like that)...he definitely got the word out!

I promised I could get hard copies of those and mail them to anyone
interested via USPS - I remember fair wrning wanted one...and I think
Plexi Brown. PM me addresses and your stage names if you want
them. Of course I will hold any information in strict confidence....Or I
can mail a bunch to Pojo or anyone like VA if there is any concern...

There's one pic where they actually DIDN'T print "PROOF" over their heads where Dave and Ed are hugging and it does NOT look like a scripted moment....
I imagine there wasn't a dry eye in the house at that moment.... They look genuinely humbled, and grateful to be where they are again.

Christ, I think this is the first time I've ever heard DLR not "forget" any of the lyrics to a song.
