The male escort responsible for the downfall of Christian evangelist leader Ted Haggard is now alleging that embattled Senator Larry Craig also came to see him.

While promoting his new book during a radio interview with KNWQ-AM in Palm Springs Wednesday night, Mike Jones hesitated from making the allegation on the air.

Management for the radio station says Jones told them he would reveal something about Idaho Senator Larry Craig on the "Bulldog Bill Feingold Show."

While he hesitated doing so on the air, a NewsChannel 3 camera was rolling when he made the accusation during a commercial break.

Feingold asked whether the Senator had seen Jones in a hotel room.

Jones responded, "No, he came to see me."

Jones then added, "His travel records to Denver have been documented. That's what I wanted to say."

NewsChannel 3 asked Senator Craig's office to comment on the allegations that Craig came to Denver to see Jones, who calls himself a gay escort.

Craig's office said in response, "Mike Jones' allegations are completely false."

Christian evangelist Ted Haggard originally denied Jones' allegations of sexual relations in 2006.

Haggard later stepped down from his national leadership post and his New Life Church in Colorado.

Jones is not alleging that he has had sex with Senator Craig but that he is alleging the senator came to see him.

"One of the things I was good at was figuring out what people did for a living when they came to see me by things they said or their actions," Jones said on-air Wednesday night.

"So be in a position where you have to guess what people did for a living, occupation-wise. Someone comes in to you and the first question they say to you is 'do you follow politics?' and you would say, 'yes'. 'Oh.' 'the weather is cold outside, isn't it? What would you think that person is involved with?

"I will just tell you a gentleman came in and said that exact thing to me.

"Did he look similar to Senator Craig?" Feingold asked.

"I've been with many politicians and all I can tell you is for a fact, that Larry Craig is a hypocrite."

Senator Craig's office also added "clearly anyone can make an accusation absent of details that would be easy to refute."

NewsChannel 3 has contacted Jones for additional explanation of his allegation and reaction to Senator Craig's denials.

Stay tuned to NewsChannel 3 and KESQ.com as we await Jones' response.

My sister lives in Idaho and just laughed and said they don't want Craig as senator because he's gay, it's because he's stupid. LOL! There is a law that a US senator coming home from voting in Washington cannot be arrested. The law exists to keep US lawmakers from being intimitated.

All Craig would have had to have done is say he is a US Senator returning home from voting in Washington DC and he has immunity. The cops couldn't do a thing to him.

The fucker was too dumb to know his own rights as a US senator.

But he wasn't home, he was in Minnesota. Maybe he couldn't get arrested in Boise though?

I never heard of that law, but it's kind of stupid. While I can understand how a redneck sheriff might try to intimidate the local congressman in some parts of the country, but unconditional immunity is ridiculous. In theory, you could shoot someone on the street and walk away.

But then the Vice pResident did almost exactly that, didn't he?

The law apparently applies anywhere in the US as long as you are traveling on your way home from voting in Washington DC. Larry Craig was returning home to Idaho via Minneapolis/St Paul. He was probably changing planes there and specifically chose to change planes there so he could have a gay hookup in the bathroom since apparently that was a popular hookup spot.

But the law regarding US Senators is in the US Constitution itself. They have immunity from the law in certain cases.

WASHINGTON – Sen. Larry Craig, R-Idaho, didn't have to plead guilty to sex charges stemming from a men's room encounter with an undercover cop in Minnesota.

All he had to do was hand the police officer a copy of the U.S. Constitution – the document the senator swore to uphold upon first taking office in Congress 27 years earlier.

There is little ambiguity in Article 1: Section 6, which clearly states no member of Congress can be arrested while traveling to or from official session.

Craig was arrested just after 12 noon June 11. He cast a vote on a high-profile cloture motion on the Senate floor at 5:55 p.m. that same day.

This may be what a high-powered legal dream team hired by Craig is telling him now. Late yesterday, Craig's staff hinted he may not honor his commitment to resign from the Senate effective Sept. 30.

The critical section of the Constitution states: "The Senators and Representatives shall receive a compensation for their services, to be ascertained by law, and paid out of the treasury of the United States. They shall in all cases, except treason, felony and breach of the peace, be privileged from arrest during their attendance at the session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any speech or debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other place."

Billy Martin, one of battery of high-priced lawyers for Craig, said the senator's arrest in an undercover police operation at a Minneapolis airport men's room "raises very serious constitutional questions."

That being said. Senator Craig's reputation and political career is destroyed. He's history. This man was a hypocrite in the worst sense and that's something nobody can stand. Looking for gay sex in the toilet? It gets no lower. LOL!

If he was able to make it back to the Senate floor that same afternoon, then they would probably have a hard time using that law to defend him.

Plus, while inviting gay sex in a public shitter doesn't meet the definition of treason, it very well could be categorized as "breach of the peace", in which case the arrest would be legal.

Or at least I like to be at peace when I'm pinching a loaf.

All these gay republicans are the sons or republicans or other elite scumbags who wanted their legacy to continue through the bloodline.

Well, that's Bush but Senator Craig was just some bloak who was raised on a ranch, went to college, and became a proffessional politician. He was a fucking US Congressman before he was a US Senator. He was planning spending his whole life in Washington until Tap Three Times killed him.

He can't even go down to San Fransisco and get elected because he was a fucking hypocrite shooting down all the gay legislation that crowd wanted passed. So he ass fucked himself.

This whole gay thing is interesting because I really have no idea what makes a man want to fuck another man up the ass.

If Jennifer Aniston came in and said I want you to butt fuck me, hey, let me get a condom and the KY and away we go. No problem honey, whatever turns you on.

The thing is, if some what women would call good looking dude comes in and tells me to fuck him up his ass, hell man, fuck yourself up your ass! One hell of a scary turn off! What get's interesting if the dude said I could have $20 million if I fucked him up the ass. Well, I might consider it then. LOL!
