Russian Warplanes Exercise Near Alaska
(October 2, 2007)—The North American Aerospace Command has released video of US fighter jets intercepting a Russian bomber off the coast of Alaska on Sept. 7.
It’s the first US interception of a Russian plane since Russian officials announced they were resuming flights this summer in that area.
NORAD officials say that while they don’t consider Russia a threat, they do have a responsibility to remain vigilant.
NORAD no longer considers Russia a threat?
Really?
Welp, I feel more secure.....
