I have to say that either one of these guys I would support, they differ on certain issues for sure, but on Iraq and the Iran bs, they speak the truth.

It's safe to assume that an Independent cannot vote in a primary.

I JUST suggested a Kucinich / Paul 2008 ticket in another thread :D

:gulp:

There's one thing that Kucinich and Thompson have in common. Their wives are both under 35, if I'm not mistaken.

What would Kucinich and Paul agree on?

Ending the war.
Ending corporatist "Free" trade (NAFTA type horseshit)

Those are the obvious ones. Probably drug legalization and gay marriage.

They're probably miles apart on just about everything else though.

I think you're mistaken, but not by much...

Elizabeth Kucinich is 30. I've never seen Thompson's wife, so I have no idea about her.

Fred used to date this chick, Lorrie Morgan. He's at least got good taste.

Was that before or after she had the husband who drank himself to death?

I don't know. Maybe he should have drowned his sorrows in her chest.

Depends on whether your state requires party registration or not.

Mine doesn't, so I'll vote in a Republican primary just for the Hell of it. Like in 2000, when I voted for McCain, because any vote against Chimpy is a good vote.

Then I expect you to vote for Ron Paul this year, FORD.

Since the Democrats use the caucus process in this state to elect delegates, it's completely plausible that I could attend my Democratic caucus and vote for Kucinich (or Gore, if he jumps in) and then vote for Paul in the primary.

I've actually been considering that for some time. Even more so, now that we have Thompson running on Chimp-like stupidity, Romney running on Chimp-like corporatism (with BCE money), and Rudy running on 9-11 whorism that actually surpasses Chimpy's.

So a vote for Ron Paul in the primary would still be a vote against Chimp, even though he's not running.

If Hillary "wins" the nomination - which should be impossible, since I can't find a single person who really wants to vote for her- then I'll probably write in another candidate (Gore, Dean, or Kucinich) and hope that millions of other fed up Americans do the same.

Just follow what Tancredo said. We shouldn't be put in the position of supporting the lesser of two evils. I've been doing that for years!

I don't know what Tancredo said, but considering what he usually says, I'm not sure I want to know.

Well, he is a one-issue candidate, but this particular point was very inspired.
