Anyone have comments on the mix? I know we're limited here, but I think you can tell that the mix is more even. You can hear Alex and Teen Wolf more and Dave vocals aren't way too loud, which IMO they were on the other shows. Also, the backing vocals harmonies are better. Maybe the guys worked on them. Anybody care to comment?

Let me just add, I just watched about 5 of these closely and i think there is no doubt Ed is getting more and more in the zone. Dave, too. Hell, the whole band.

Ed really plays to the crowd on his side, very nice to see. They have a rythym down for the whole show and it looks really good. Just picked up my second row on the floor tix for Edmonton yesterday and can't wait for MSG!!!

Why did I just do this???

I told myself I was NOT going to look at one more video before I see the actual show in MTL (Nov. 10th) and I just did... AGAIN!

I just can't help myself!

I practically heard all of it LIVE, from Sparkie's cell. on opening night (wich was great)... now there's gonna be no more surprise!

Although, I fully know that there ain't nothing like being there, in person...

Maybe, we should put these videos in a non-main forum so they're not in everyone's faces when they come to the site. We need some feedback on this. Or should we just let everyone who wants to see them find them themselves on youtube?

Yes, there is a small fridge beside the left side of the drum set. My wife and I were actualy watching him when he went over and opened the door and pulled out a drink.

I noticed Ed was drinking Gatorade.

I'm surprised no Eruption video is out yet.

It was a good performance overall but I hate to say it but I thought his solo was borderline lame . Zero flow . He spent more time stepping on pedals ,noodling and stopping. He kept signaling to his tech to turn up his "Cathedral" echo effect and noodling around for a minute , walks up to his mic and shouts "UP!" into his mic. at the tech.

Kinda disappointed , but maybe I'm just expecting too much from" the kid from Pasadena."

Solo aside , I thought it was a great show overall.:cool:

I noticed that when listening to the Charlotte show, Dave did the "primal scream" before Everybody wants some...
This time, he didn't do it.

I know that the shows get to be slightly different as they go but I love that scream of his... hope he does it here!

I'd like to know if Ed and Co are paying the original writers for the cover material they're playing (e.g., YRGM, PW, DITS, etc). Seems like they and Zep put up a big stink this past year when their material was played at bars and didn't get any money for it.

I thought the solo was alot better than Sundays hack.Yes to the Gatorade. I just thought it was fucked up to have a fridge there, what next a toilet. Maybe that is where Ed went when he went behind the door on stage? What size pics are allowed here?

I saw this dog and pony clown concert one time! opening for DAVE a few years ago! I believe they had a full blown tiki bar on stage! :rolleyes:
