I enjoy the Dianno era for what it is, absolutely. I don't think it's either better or worse than the Dickinson stuff after that...just a different beast altogether.
Definitely, the best stuff of his career was done with Iron Maiden...Gogmagog was so bad it was silly, Battlezone was pretty forgettable as a band and Killers was essentially a Pantera rip off, as I remember...
And if it wasn't that, it sounded like Survivor...
