What discs or albums do you favor for halloween creepiness?

Heavy Metal is always a first grab, personally. The first heavy metal album I grab from the grab bag is "SABOTAGE." There's the whole creepy mirror cover, and enough atmospheric destruction inside to make someone wanna slaughter a goat!!

Alice Cooper. "Welcome To My Nightmare" is a perennial favorite.

The Damned. "The Black Album", "Strawberries", and "Grave Disorder" are excellent examples of creepy uneasyness.

Don't forget The Misfits.

The Cramps. "Songs The Lord Taught Us"....."Bad Music For Bad People."

Johnny Thunders. "In Cold Blood." Singing from the grave before he was dead.

The list goes on and on....

How 'bout you?

Canibal Corpse (how can you go wrong with tunes like: "Entrails Ripped from a Virgin's Cunt", "Fucked with a Knife" & "Meat-Hook Sodomy"); or maybe some old school Morbid Angel usually brings out the 'Aleister Crowley' quite nicely...

Of course, there's always Slayer & Sepultura as well..

I plan to spend Halloween bashing my head against a rock until I'm unconscious and not around Halloween any more...and hope I'm still in a Coma come Bonfire night 5 days later.

Same plans for New Year and Valentines.

I just hate pointless "Holidays".

New Years eve, to me, has always been "forced fun". Everybody DETERMINED to have a good time so we can celebrate the fact that we now write the daye slightly differently.

Halloween...I've never understood how parents can tell their kids all year round not to talk to strangers, not to take anything off strangers, not to go to strangers houses and how not to graffitti etc...then on Halloween they say "OK, now go and knock on strangers front doors and ask them to give you sweets and if they don't give em to you, egg their houses".

Valentines...Trees wasted on cards for no reason. Waste of breath.

Bonfire night...British thing...Wikipedia it.

The latter 3 just come across as lame excuses to make money for people like Rupert Murdoch.
