Porn Debate: Should Children Have Access?

This has nothing to do with war .
But is about politics,and i guess the Front Line is the correct place.
I fully back the government in their efforts to keep things like guns and porn out of childrens hands .
I don't want my son coming home with hard core porn he picked up
at the liquor store.
Teenage boys are gonna find that shit anyway but it should not be readily available.
When I feel it's time I will let him see a playboy or something of
that sort.

One of the main roles of government is to protect its citizens from enemies, foreign and domestic.

And keeping children safe from toys with lead, deadly weapons, and pornography is a no-brainer.

It is NOT attacking "freedom of speech" either, to warn parents about the contents of media.

Plus making it taboo for kids makes it all the funner when you score some. My dad had lot's of rental property and I loved finding big stashes of porn when I had to clean the places up. I had quite the porn collection from just that and I used to rent my porn out to other kids for $$$$. It was my first business!

Any kid with a computer can access harcore porn and I doubt there's much that can be done to limit access to it, except maybe good parenting.

On a side note, if my dad had shown me porn, even Playboy, when I was a teenager I think I would have been damaged for life: that is not something you should see with your parent! Might wanna re-think that one.

Kids having access to "adult porn" is not the same as "child porn."

Your thread title makes it sound as if there is some "debate" over child porn. But there is none. Child porn is sick and wrong....and those who produce it, distribute it, or look at it should have their genitals ripped off.

Between my mom constantly reminding me I could get girls pregnant (My mom was a counciler and dealt with unwed teenage mothers a lot) and reading the Penthouse Forum, I had a good Yin Yang sex education. Or I thought. It wasn't until I had a steady, "Fuck me anytime" girlfriend in college that I learned a lot of the Penthouse stuff was using a lot of creative license to say the least. My dad had this stash of Playboys going back to the 1950's. Pretty tame stuff, really. They didn't even show pussy until the mid 70's.

But my mom was pissed when she realized that I had found them. I was probably 11 or 12 at the time.

Not that they were too hard to find, as the attic happened to be attached to my bedroom, which meant I could get in there easier than anyone else.

We need to go back to the old school approach that adults govern the children. We've turned into a society of undiciplined slobs. We are fat, lazy, dumb fucks who can even take care of ourselves let alone raise some decent kids.

I don't even think it's good to drink around kids. The adult stuff is for adults and when you are around kids, it's time to be on your best behavior and act like an adult.
