Yes, it is. Michael Anthony was approached by David, Ed and Alex and asked to do this tour, it was live on TV. Mike said he wasn't interested.

I know Micheal Anthony still has a link on his web site to VH. Could he be holding out hope or is he just trying to take the high road. I can't believe he would choose touring with Ronald MacDonald over touring with Dave. Even if he didn't like Dave, he was looking at making millions. Even if he has enough money, nobody turns down this kind of paycheck.

Well truth be known, I feel that there's a good possibility that Sammy gave his blessing to Mike AFTER he found out there was no chance in hell of the bass player being invited to do the tour. That way it allows Sammy to take the "for the fans" stance that he's always tried to employ. I don't buy it. After all, Sammy had to "fight" to keep Mike in on the '04 tour. He HAD to know that without him there the bass player was out.
