Went to pay my rent last week and picked up a pamphlet at the drop off center at the top of Mulholland Drive and found this amongst all the business cards that people leave there for advertisement.
Could explain why EVH's guitars were out of tune...he's trying to play each one to use as giveaways! LOL!
If I had known sooner that it simply took purchasing a Floral Bouquet or two, I would have gone this route instead of Ticketbastard!! (with the chance to win one of the prizes indicated in this contest):

Eddie Van Halen's boots were made for trashin'.
The guitarist hosted an event at LA's House of Petals on Wednesday sporting a pair of boots that were worn down to the bone -- literally.
Eddie's taped up concoction gives new meaning to the term open toe shoes!
UPDATE: TMZ has learned that Eddie's kicks hold extreme sentimental value to the rockstar. The boots were the very first pair of footwear that Eddie was able to purchase on his own. He now wears them to remind himself of where he came from.

Shit, a couple of years after this tour is over, you can meet Ed for the cost of a bottle of Mad Dog 20/20 and a pack of Camel non-filters if you hang out near his local liquor store.
And I'm pretty sure Jane will give anyone who asks a Dirty Sanchez for $5.

He's looking better than he did a few years ago, and seemingly playing better (although I'd say that even if it were a case of hearing him playing CVH with a few botched licks here and there in 2007 vs Van Hagar shit done flawlessly in 2004 - kind of a bad comparison, as Van Hagar was fundamentally flawed from the get-go, but...)
Personally, I think this is just an interlude between his next several year long bender, but whatever. Least he's doing something worthwhile with this moment of clarity.

BTW....The girl in the photo is NOT Janie.
Her name is Joey House and she is the owner of House of Petals, model and actress. She was also the girl who wore the mini plaid skirt accompanying Ed on the Red Carpet on their way to the Elton John Oscar Party last year.

2004 Eddie was very fucked up. Hardly flawless...at least the show I was at (Mandalay Bay - Vegas). Looking back, I kinda wished I had caught them on the Balance tour in 1995. May have been the last time the great EVH played coherently.

I think what happened is Vallerie got fat and Eddie knew even if he looked like something from the Capuchin Cript, he still could score hot ass because of his fame and money.
If you know you have hammered yourself to death, what to you want to fuck in your last days? A fat bitch has been actress or some hot shallow ass? Ed went for the looks.
