HEY, Dave is wearing a wig in this video, as his hair fell out during the 1988 skyscraper album

I remember when this first aired here in the UK, not the normal friday night viewing we used to get. Top stuff, I saw him on this tour, last of the big arena tours in the UK.

ACK!

Hate Jonathon Ross these days.

He's the kind of interviewer who pretends to be a huge fan of the people on his show, even when he hasn't the faintest.

For proof of this, find the Motley Crue interview from 2005.

The Crue interview was poor, it tends to be less of an interview these days and more of a ross stand up routine

On the plus side he tends to get some decent bands on.

When Van Halen tour the UK in late 08 (Please God) they will be on

Good thing I downloaded it. The video quality messes up a few times and the sound is a little out of sync (or could be my imagination), anyways here it is if anybody wants it:

I really like Ross's show - fuckin' hilarious if you ask me. I suppose he has to pretend to be a fan of whomever is on. The Crue interveiw was great though wasn't it? I laughed my ass off....

I thought it was cool that they were on, but I thought it was a little on the embarrassing side.

I think it'd be much better if interviewers were honest...if you don't like em, don't pretend you do, just stay impartial. There's no need to say "Oh, I'm a huge fan", like he often does.

As I say, I used to like him, but over the last few years he's gotten so obnoxious, arrogant and downright annoying that I stopped watching/listening to him altogether. He's become unbearable. Why do the BBC use him for EVERYTHING?

Getting their money's worth :D

It's kind of weird that you don't like him but you like Jeremy Clarkson, who is equally arogant, obnoxious and probably even more opinionated. I like 'em both.

Because Clarkson's always been "arogant, obnoxious and probably even more opinionated"...but he's not annoying.

And is actually funny.

And doesn't always suck up to his guests (he does sometimes...but not always)

And can pronounce his own name.

And punched Piers Morgan.

And assaulted an abusive hoodie.
