Hey, wheres WARF ?? Would love to hear him recorded over
this.. WARF, I can hook you up with the software ya need,
(Or help ya out)
or anyone else if they can do a good Dave.... Let me know,
I got Digital audio workshops galore, If anyone
sounds like Dave, let me know and I can record it for
you properly...
Im just betting there's someone here that does a
decent Dave ... (Its not me ! lol)

this sounds horrible...the backing vocals sound gay as hell...

Hey want do you want for free ? :D
I stumbled across it, I didnt make it, I thought of WARF straight
away as he said he does DAve Karaoke..
The Backing vocals usually sound better when somebody is
actually singing over it.. Did you try Natra ?? :D
Anyway, I'd never seen backing tracks for Dave before
so I thought somebody here might like it..
I did say it was "better than average" not "OMI GOD
its freakin incredible" most free backing tracks sound like
crap, so this one is not bad for a freebie (all taken into
consideration)

Yankee Rose and Just a Gigalo are out there as well.

Sorry for the double post chaps, just deleted it..
Art Guy, where did you see them ? (Just out of curiousity)
I would have thought California Girls would be floating
around too.. Seems an obvious choice..
DISCLAIMER: These are just backing tracks made by other
dudes, so its just for fun (before everyone starts flaming me with
"That sounds nothing like Steve Vai" .. ) LOL :D

Do you have a sound card ??
If yes, you will need a microphone to plug into your
line in, or mic in..
Install a little utility called "asio4all" this gets rid of
the otherwise lag you will get when recording on a PC,
Here are two great, free multitrack software recording DAW's.
Kristal
http://www.kreatives.org/kristal/
Reaper
http://www.cockos.com/reaper/
Asio4all

Then simply import the backing track you downloaded onto
one track, and record you on another...
Cheers !

Cool ! I havent used newsgroups for years, I though torrents
probably killed em.. Is there one you know of that has
just drum tracks ??

I hate torrents. Newsgroups are so much better in my opinion. No ratios or worrying for that last seeder to turn off their computer. As for just drum tracks, I haven't found any.
