    NASCAR loves classic VH.

    NASCAR on FOX began its programming from
    Richmond tonight with "Dance The Night Away".
    Righteous. Even we rednecks know that classic
    VH is the *ONLY* VH.

          Crazy From The Heat mentions the "south" and ZZ top kind of rock n' roll. That is some of Dave's influence. That is probably why those rednecks relate to Classic Van Halen. Not only does it rock, but it has some serious influences that make it familiar to everyone.

              In more sports/ClassicVH news, I noticed one of the major
              networks playing "Jump" during appropriate points in the
              hoops playoff games today. The only thing 'makes me sad
              about this is that from what I understand, Dave doesn't
              get equal share of the royalties everytime ClassicVH is
              sampled, but holy crap, Dave was what made it classic
              in the first damned place.

              On a more humorous note, during the NASCAR race, they
              were covering Nadeau's (sp?) brain injury, and there was
              some instrumental van Hagar playing in the background.
              Subliminal? Heh.
