Who's taking the cornfield caucus.

As much as I want Kucinich to take the whole thing, I'm predicting Edwards will take the lead.

I'll live with anyone but Hillary.

Isn't she currently leading in the polls?

I watched the "sample" caucus that C-Span was airing. From what I saw, if all the Kucinich, Dodd, Richardson, and Biden supporters could have agreed on one candidate, they probably could have made that one candidate viable, but instead they split off into the other three camps.

I'm hoping that Edwards gains a lot in the last 100 precincts or so, because I want Hillary in a definite third place. Not "tied for 2nd". I want that bitch gone by South Carolina.

News reports coming in that Biden and Dodd have both called it quits. Probably will make it official tomorrow.

Dodd should be the next Senate Majority Leader. And Dennis Kucinich the next speaker of the house.

Final numbers from Iowa will come soon.........

Dude, you're out of your fucking mind! Seriously! It was the biggest thing I've heard all day --ON CNN!!

The only other part of the discussion is that Edwards might be finished. But clearly no one hid the fact that Hillery got owned...

Clinton out of it Edwards says (http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/)

Gotta love the whore media spin.....

Edwards, who came in at #2 with no corporate financing and very little media coverage is "finished", while Hillary, the media annointed "front runner" since January 20, 2005 finishes third, and it's a minor bump in the road.

Face it, if the preliminary media hype is the standard to measure results by, Hillary TANKED, and Edwards performed far better than expectations.

If Hillary doesn't win New Hampshire, she's done. Because she's not taking South Carolina. And even Harry Reid's kid isn't going to be able to deliver Nevada for her if she goes in 0 - 3.

Hopefully by then, the "electability" machine will kick in, and that DLC whore will be completely locked out of Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Tuesday.

And now, this brief FORD editorial.....

It just hit me today how HUGE this really is.

I'm not saying Obama will be President. I'm not even saying he's my preferred candidate yet.

But the reality is, a black man named for his African father won the first major Presidential primary in the USA last night.

That's history, my friends. And regardless of what else happens, it's a damn big step forward for this country.

There are always random assholes and haters, no matter where you are. There are probably even weird people out there that don't like me. But what the fuck, a mostly white state just voted for a black dude to be president. If that's not acceptance, then nothing ever will be.

Fair point about the 'all colors,' though.

Actually, bigots come in all colors. Racism implies power, to institutionally oppress or marginalize a group of people, and minorities do not as a rule have that ability, sorry...

Another issue involving the Obama victory was the fact that voters are sending a clear message that they are fed up with this Bush/Clinton, Bush/Clinton dynasty. I don't think it mattered if Obama was a blue colored martian from planet Saturn, the citizens of Iowa clearly stated their disdain for HITLARY. It is obvious that Americans want change and Obama brings a breath of fresh air to politics. Personally, I don't care for his left leaning politics but anyone is better than Hitlary. Vote Ron Paul!!!!!

Not only that but he was raised Muslim. Only the Nazi Mormon Mitt supporters in the Rocky Mountain region are talking shit about Obama saying he's an Al Quaida transplant. But of course these are people who really believe the Mormon Church will eventually take over the world.

I'm really surprised the conspiracy nuts here haven't seized on that point. In some crazy episode of Jack Bauer, I could see it all playing out like this. If they were going to plant somebody, wouldn't it be just like this? :fucku2:

Your hatred for Bush is blinding you. He represents the rich in the U.S. and Saudi Arabia. AlQaeda has different goals, including the downfall of the Saudis and Israel.

Nevertheless, it's a fun conspiracy theory. If they were ever going to get somebody through to the presidency, it would be some dude who was schooled by them at an early age, then immediately moved to the U.S.

We were playing "conspiracy corner"

You with your predictable "Look at the black muslim, he must be dangerous" shtick....

While I pointed it out that a radical muslim's wet dream would be an America in utter fear, spying on themselves, wasting treasure and thousands of lives occupying land that then breeds more recruits, sympathy, and donations to fight the Infidels.

America has never been more under the thumb of these sand eating morons, and it's all thanks to the BUSH ADMINISTRATION.

I love how you like to crack wise and play, yet all of a sudden get all Harrumph with your stupid "you hate bush too much" mantra.

You play this game alot in here.

If you don't think the Bush Administration and their allies in big oil and defense contractors have played into the hands of "Al Qaeda" [cough cough] then you're dumber than I thought.

It's not that he's a 'black muslim' that makes it interesting. A muslim born and raised in the US isn't that interesting. But I understand this guy was educated overseas. Is that right?
