at 16 years old "wolfie " has his whole life in front of him ,where will he be in 20 years ........ i can think of 4 things that may happen 1 .......he stays in van halen ...doubtful in 20 years ed al and dave will be in thier 70s ,possibly retired from the music biz 2...........he starts his own band "the wolfgang experience " very different from van halen but carries on the tradition of the van halen name 3..... hes in and out of rehab ....yes ed fucked him up so bad ,puttting him in the spotlight at such a young age hes turns to drugs and alcohol to deaden the pain and hes in and out of rehab 4 ..... he sits on the van halen empire and does nothing ....... whats your prediction ? check back in 20 years to see whos right !!!

I say he'll be sitting on the Van Halen empire and watching the cash flow. I mean why wouldn't he?

I think he'll carry the VH brand, and keep the group rolling after Ed and Al retire. Dave seems to be frozen in time, he'll still be there.

Wolfie never had to earn his place on that stage. He inherited it because he's Eddie Van Halen's son. Wolfgang probably will be as amazing of a talent as Jack and Kelly Osbourne are. Without their talented father and marketing savy mom, they are nothing.

Everyone has to pay their dues and when you inherit your place on stage, you lack the fire to keep you there.

VH will need a new album that is amazing after this tour or the fans will soon lose interest. The reunion tour with Dave finally gave the fans what they wanted after many years and the band has been delivering as good of shows as they can under the circumstances. The fans seem happy.

Without some new amazing music that holds up, it all will get boring quick. Can Van Halen amaze us with new releases like they used to? That is to be seen.

A bit harsh maybe?

Could be more like quality time between a father and son that many of us I would say most of us never had and memories of a lifetime that will benefit both forever.

Or you could look at it from a slighted former VH bass players angle.

P.S. Wolf is no hack on the bass.

After years of squandering his inheritance on pot, Twinkies, and Boone's Farm.. He will be just getting off the Valerie bertinelli weight loss program that his mom founded. Then he'll go back to work at Burger King and continue his manager in training program.

Just kidding.. He'll be rocking the world.

i think by the time wolfie is in his late 20s he will have his own band ,of course he wont be playing big arena "s and then he will write a tell book called "daddy dearest " how his father forced and pressured him into the world of rock-n-roll ,wich led to his drug addiction . wow so many avenues for this kid to take .... i wish the best for wolfie ,you just never know ......he might be on a reality show in 20 years for rock star kids gone bad .

Seriously, I think in 20 years, Wolf will be in a rock band playing lead guitar like dad.

Wolfgang is supposedly a gifted drummer and guitarist as well. After the rush of playing to soldout crowds, I bet he will want to start coming up with his own music. How good it will be remains to be heard. That's what I think he will do. Along with releasing VH tunes from the vault every couple of years to make some extra cash. After Eddie is gone the unheard stuff will be really valuable. He'll get Ted Templeman's kid to produce the tracks and my kids will buy it. :)

Wolfie will probably leave before he is 20. He will have made many millions just on the back of the tours and at that age he will be itching to make his own mark.

Look at all the top bnads, VH, Zep, the Beatles, the Who, Queen etc., the draw was the sum of the parts, not just one guy. Unless Wolfie can find a DLR, a Freddie Mercury, or a Robert Plant, and some great tunes he is going to crash and burn.

In 20 years he will have opened the VH museum with all the guitars, rare photos, outfits, videos etc., raid 'the vault' and watch the cash roll in.

"Celebrity Rehab"

the Simon chair on "American Douchebag"

Running 5150 Studios.

Playing in someone else's band.

Doing a shitty movie with Jack Black.

Whatever he does, he has a shitload of options
most folks never have.

No.

Just one of a plethora of choices he could make.

Good, bad, or ugly.
