Any thing under an ounce in California is an infraction .
From an ounce to 75 grams is a misdeamenor.
Over that is a felony.
Not sure what you mean with your West Hollywood comment but
they have their own police force and answer to their city council.
They have decided to ask their officers not to cite people for

The sherrif's dept does have juridiction everywere in the county
but generally if a city has it's own force such as LAPD or Burbank PD
the Sheriiff lets them handle their local area.
In areas Of the county who contract with the Sheriffs dept instead of

When I was in Pompeii all the roads look as though they have tire channels in them but I think that was maybe something to do with water drainage. I only remember it because I had a hangover and kept tripping up. :)

Yo Sesh, I just spoke with my former g/f. I was in the UK visiting in 1989, and we drove by it several times. She was the one who pointed it out to me the first time we drove past it.

Imagine you are on the M11 going North. On the right, it looks like a white road coming from the distance, and ending about 100 meters from the side of the motorway.
Then, on the left side, about the same distance from that side of the motorway, it picks up where it left off and disappears into the distance.

I could swear it was the M11, but in recent years I have tried to find it on Google maps satellite view, and absolutely cannot.

It could have been one of the A roads, and it would have been around Suffolk, as my g/f was in the USAF stationed at RAF Lakenheath at the time. She cannot recall where it was, though she does recall driving on roads in the area that have been in existence for almost 2,000 years.

His basic job for them is to do city tours , it's class way to meet female students .
But I've did the tours with him loads we have some fantastic buildings .
The keep in the center of town , was built during the original Norman invasion , the one standing is from 1178.

There's many buildings on the East Coast that date to the 17th century. I've been to two that I know of. Fort Niagara in Youngstown, NY dates back to about 1678 when the French established it to guard Lake Ontario and surrounding settlements. The Army operated it until the early 1960's, but the U.S. Coast Guard still has a small base there making it one of the oldest continually operating military bases in North America...

It's pretty damn cool on the inside too. Although it's open to the public it's also still an active church. Last time I was there it was a Saturday and the priest was taking confessions, which seems a little weird to do with a bunch of tourists walking around.
