Isn't it always interesting how Gene conveniently leaves out the fact that his "discovery" of VH did NOT result in the band getting signed ??? He always makes it vague enough for the non-initiated to assume that he got VH signed....

Van Halen with David Lee Roth is superior to Van Halen without David Lee Roth.

David Lee Roth solo material is superior to solo material of others who have served as Van Halen vocalists.

Eddie Van Halen should just shut his big fat yapper. I could go without hearing Alex talk, too.

Bass player is anonymous in those clips although he was a noticable part of the six pack sound.

I'd like to hear some new music and then I could have closure with this love affair.

Is Van Halen the greatest rock 'n roll drama of all time?
