The starting pitching worries me. Vazquez and Brown have done the job, but Mussina hasn't and Contreras and Osbourne have sucked.
Lieber is still a question mark.

I wish this guy was still around...

              Damn skippy!

Look out...end of May, 2 games over .500. Overbay on a tear. Sheets on the mound tonight. Beware NL Central!

Best record in baseball, 31-19. Seemed unlikely a month back.

just posted this on another thread. a joke from my 8 year old son.

"What does a hot dog taste like at fenway park in october.?

" no one knows, they have never made one in october.

as a die hard yankee fan, i found it hilarious.

So what's the deal with the Yanks...they are more or less sleepwalking to first place...

what's going to happen when ALL the bats wake up...and they will...

and who wants to bet that the Yanks sign fucking RJ...or another big name pitcher...

                        or worse...2 starters...

rumors already have Contreras and a prospect to the Yanks for Armas Jr....can't see that...but wow...Armas is going to be a stud...

Heard a rumor yesterday: Garciaparra wants out of Boston. The Yanks will get him and make him a 2nd basemen.

Nomar should want out after they virtually told him they didn't want him while they were shoppin' for ARod...

he won't end up in New York though...I still think Anaheim would be a good fit...and I think he has a house out there with his soccer trolip...

Garciaparra and Pedro are both gone after this year. both have broken off contract talks and are looking elsewhere......

I would agree that Normar probably wont end up in NY, I dont think they'd want him anyway. Pedro though is another story....
