I've got the SX SJM, I put a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates in the Bridge. I love it. I ordered a new pickguard from them and I'm going to swap out and put some P90s in it. This thing is a blues machine. I'll be able to go from Humbuckers to P90s with a quick solder of the output jack.

I'm thinking about checking out their vintage white strat. I love cheap guitars too. Easy to mod. The body on my SJM is SOLID. Thinking about getting that strat and changing out the electronics. Fun hobby

I wondered at first too. They are solid wood. Mine is solid alder. Great bang for the buck for the do it yourselfer

Agile guitars are made and finished very well...and they sound great, although i've changed the pups in all of mine. The pots and other electronic components are of high quality as well...

What are your thoughts on the Douglas Hawker? Seems to good to be true for a 200 dollar guitar.

I don't care for the Douglas stuff...

Much lower quality than Agile...

Lower than SX as well...

Thanks, I will go with Agile when the time comes to buy. I also really like the Les Paul copy with the maple fingerboard.
