I was SO pissed for SO long about that..

I was for a a few hours and then read up on it(helped it was shown later over here) and it all came together.

In hindsight it was absolute genius and quite haunting.

Originally they wanted the blackout sequence at the end to last for 30 seconds because that is how long it takes for clinical death to occur but they were over ruled by the network.
