Fair Warning is Van HALEN's best album.

But even the COVERS on Diver Down... even Dancing in the Fucking Streets.... is infinitely better than ANYTHING that ever escaped the ass of Samantha Hagar to be captured on tape at 5150 studios.

"Diver Down" was a good album!

The "(Oh) pretty women", "Dancing in the Street" and even "Sweet William" wore great cover songs done by no other, than the "Diamond One" and Eddie.

I don't know, if I'll consider it their best album, but I would rank it up there.

The originals on DD are good. The covers are "ok". Fair warning is my fav, even tho it's only 9 tracks long.

I always said (before this past tour) that Little Guitars should've been replaced by Secrets as Dave has trouble hitting the highs in LG without Mike.

Secrets is def. a great song.

DD is def. NOT the best album. Im thinking & hoping the best album hasn't come out yet.

Diver Down is a great, fun summer album. But I stick by my thesis that this was the beginning of the end of Classic Van Halen as they were largely goaded into recording after an almost nonstop, grueling run since VHI...

And Fair Warning is my personal favorite album...

Fair Warning was the apex of the band.

The best DD and 1984 had to offer was right up there with the best of CVH, but DD had some kind of weak tracks...as did 1984...
