am unaware of... I know Guitar Hero (or whatever its called)

The vocal track was leaked several months ago, and that's when all these remixes appeared. Though I'll be damned if I know who originally leaked it. We know the vaults at Van HALEN Inc have security tighter than fucking Fort Knox, so it wasn't an inside job.

Reason I mentioned Guitar Hero, was that I was checking
out some of the backing track web sites. They had
master vocal/guitar/drums tracks from Metallica
which they were claiming were extracted from the game.
If a Band is included in the game, they consent to
providing the original tracks. Not owning this game Im
wondering if one of the versions has Van Halen on it.
(Or if it doesnt, perhaps the next one will and these
are leaks from that)

Well if you call security a locked storage shed where someone lost the key...

Sadly a large part of the stored master tapes could have ended up in a dumpster years ago because they were forgotten and someone didn't pay the bill.

You got to wonder...

There was a pic of vault inventory that made the rounds in the last year or 2... showed tons of VHS and Beta format films and 2 inch master tapes. It would be interesting to find out if that inventory is still stored at that media vault company.
