SPREADING DEMOCRACY AROUND THE WORLD: Axl Rose intends to take the current lineup of Guns N’ Roses out on a worldwide stadium tour this summer, industry insiders told rollingstone.com. “Axl has been basically quiet, keeping out of the limelight for almost 15 years,” said Guns manager Irving Azoff in the news item. “People think they know him, but they really only know what has been said about him by questionable people. He is a good guy and often misunderstood—he is a professional who has worked very hard to build and maintain a high creative standard for Guns N’ Roses, which I support. We have some exciting things in the works this year for GNR, I’m looking forward to it.” Right on the heels of this news come unconfirmed reports about a co-headlining tour with GNR and fellow L.A. hard-rock icons Van Halen. I can't see Axl's ego in the same building with Ed and Dave's ego. I know years ago when GnR toured with Metallica, Hetfield took the high road but hated his guts. I don't see Ed or Dave keeping it to themselves.

Perhaps VH management would like to contact Metallica about how well their co-headlining tour went? G'day Eyes, Mary Frances and I are doing fine
we are about to have a young un, luckily for
us the fires were interstate. However its my home (where
I was born) where it happened. Still havent heard of
any relatives or friends that got killed. (Thank god)
I heard of people who actually made it to their
cars, starting out running the fire front, only
to have the petrol explode inside their car...
Gotta feel for those guys.. So close...
A lot of those areas had only minutes of warning.
We had some really freaky wind direction changes.
The main town that was hit "Kinglake" had actually
been cleared by authorites (as they calculated
that the fire path would not hit them) then suddenly
the big change of wind, and 5 minutes notice to
get the fuck out... Most of that town vanished of the
face of the planet. Like its just black dust there now
What was really ironical was the top half of Australia
was flooded (under water) and the bottom half
was on fire, badly needing water !!!
