I'm pulling out songs almost entirely from two albums they released this decade (they have three, the fourth coming out this year.) I'm going to post about 10 or more and there's not one that wouldn't have been a chart hit for a new band that came from somewhere other than cold Norway.

I don't know WTF you mean by "true crowd", and I doubt you do either.

As far as looking at anything rationally or objectively, that's been done 20 + years ago...A-HA still suck, and I have come to the rational conclusion that I object to them.
