The Atomic Punks used to be the best at this game,
but Fan Halen looks & sounds more like the real thing these days,
especially since Ralph quit the Punks.

I used to slag on the punks a bit, but ralph did a good jom...

I particularly liked Outta Love Again and Feel Your Love Tonight/Little dreamer...

That SG sounds way more like Van Halen than that ugly Van Halen copy guitar...

Fan Halen is WAY better than them now.

All the Punks clips on here feature Ralph, and he isn't in the band anymore.

I saw the Atomic Punks about 14 years ago and Ralph was great, he had Roth down cold. I don't know who the guitarist was back then but he looked and sounded like Eddie. Although I had a good time that night it made me sad that the real Van Halen was dead and gone. I've thought about seeing the Punks again but never did.

Tribute bands are a fun trip down Nostalgia St. but having seen Classic VH 7 times there ain't nothing like the real thing!
