Metallica's World Magnetic Tour will return to North America from Europe this fall and make its way through this continent beginning in Nashville on Sept. 14.
Metallica have five Canadian dates set for Montreal, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa and Quebec City in September and October, with the possibility of more dates being added, according to the band's website.
"European Summer Vacation, part 2,347 will end on August 2, so that can only mean one thing ... more dates in the U.S. and Canada!" the band wrote.
"We just rocked Austin at SXSW and are super psyched that we'll be back in North America visiting our friends in the Fall as the World Magnetic Tour keeps rolling on. We had an amazing time on the last run in '08 and early '09 and we are so ready to do it again!"
Tickets to most shows (including the Canadian dates) go on sale on April 4, while the rest will be available on April 11. Pre-sale information is available to members of the band's fan club.
