    Ian Gillan

    Has anyone picked up Ian Gillan’s new album, One Eye to Morocco? I’ve read some great reviews and heard some awesome snippets but I was wondering what other fans thought? Is it lyrically superior to his previous efforts? Thoughts?

                          So what is it then? Renaissance Fair music, like the stuff Blackmore has been doing?

                          And if so, does that mean the good news is, the Real Deep Purple will be back - bad news is they'll be partying like it's 1399?

                                          A Gillan (the band) reunion would be great.

                                          Pity the rest of them hate him for leaving to join Sabbath.

                                              I dunno. But for some reason, he lived (or lives) in Buffalo, NY for a while at least part of the time and recorded much of the album here...

                                                      Didn`t he tell his band he had to retire due to throat problems then join Sabbath a few weeks later?

                                                      To be fair they were going down at the end but it`s not as if the rest of them could continue calling themselves "Gillan" without him in the band.
