Well, I do like the BBC. It's was a 30 minute show on news journalism. Don't worry the first 20 were ripping the shit out of UK crap which is shit in a different way.

We don't really have an equivalent of Fox, the Murdoch cable news here Sky isn't the same. This of course is only because a Fox editorial wouldn't sell well here.

I don't really watch Fox News much anymore. With the loss of Brit Hume & addition of Glenn Beck, they've just lost their appeal. All I enjoy now is Shep & all the hot women they have. Julie Banderas is smokin' hot.

It's like car porn. There was a version supposedly coming to these shores. As much as I get jealous of the limeys in that show, an American version would just be some douchebags who I would hate more. They film it perfectly.

They put a huge amount of work into the filming but another key thing is that they don't need to worry about advertisers.

Any commercial channel doing a car show is looking for car adverts to pay for the show which then means that the hosts can't be brutally honest about poor cars.

True. And it is not just limited to cars. I sometimes used to watch stuff on The Speed Channel and that other guy's network, and found the whoring of useless, snake-oil shit like "Z-max, Prolong, Slick50 with shitty fucking teflon to ruin your engine, Duralube, etc." to be pretty nauseating...

There are also some shitty movie 'review' shows here and in the US which are basically just trailers and adverts on the commercial channels.
