I also happen to like Van Hagar and have no issues with saying that here or anywhere else. I have lurked here and posted at the Links in the past. I see the same old faces here as years ago. Lot's of wrestling fans which makes me laugh even though I was into all of that as well at one point.

3) I think Eddie Van Halen is insane
4) I think DLR is the best showman in rock and roll

I don't disagree with most of your points. But this is a site dedicated to Roth and where Hagar is vilified because -well- that's part of the charm really. Personally I could care less if you listen to Gary Halen III in your thong while pinching your nipples, it's the discussion that matters. And as far as Chickenfoot, I have a hard time caring enough to get angry about them other than I think Joe Satriani is wasting his time with them and their music is a bit of a bore and their promotional videos are creepy and awkward...
